Get Back to The Book

There are so many different Christian books out there that emphasize different topics of the Bible or of life in general.

Many, many of them are extremely good and powerful too!

However, there is no book out there that could replace The Book – The Bible!

The Bible is where you need to go to get your answers…they’re all in there.

Be sure not to replace other Christian literature and not get into your Bible often! If you forget the Bible, you’re losing your foundation.

If you want to learn to study the Bible better, there are many guides out there to help you accomplish this goal…Great stuff!

That could be really helpful and obviously, there would be a method for everyone out there. I know everyone learns in different ways…

Ye Believe In God – Believe Also In Me

John 14:1 says: Let not your heart be troubled; ye believe in God, believe also in me.

This morning I was reading my Bible (actually, it’s one of those really huge Bibles with stories and such) and I got all caught up in the pictures and the stories.

The pictures in my Bible are so real and they make you feel like you are there experiencing the places where Jesus walked, or was baptized and preached, or where John the Baptist was born, or any of the other great places and stories of the Bible.

I was really having a good time with the Lord and talking with him. (He is with us always: Matthew 28:20 and, lo, I m with you always, even unto the end of the world)

Anyway, as you read through my Bible, at the end of books or at various places, it will have sections of pictures and stories like Christ Praying in Gethsemane, Moses and the Burning Bush, Doubting Thomas, or Behold I Stand At The Door and Knock…

1st off…We believe in God, The Son and The Holy Spirit.

We don’t add anything to the bible and we don’t take anything away from it. It is God’s word, not yours.

It is His book. He is the author. He didn’t write a prelude and he didn’t write an afterthought.

He did give us His Son Jesus and Then The Holy Spirit.

We were made perfect, but we don’t always act like it…so everyday we strive to be better and more like Christ. Sometimes, we succeed and sometimes, we fail…But most important is to finish the race. That’s what we are here to help you do. Finish the race and every leg of it. By providing you the information you need to win the everyday battles we face in life.
