How HE Loves Us! (That’s THE Message)

I have been on this journey with God lately.

Actually for the last few months. And…

THE message that He has been trying to really drive home to me,
The message that He really wants me to get,
The message that He wants all of us to understand,
The whole message is this:

How HE Loves Us! (That’s THE Message)

It’s so funny that we try to make things so complicated.

That is THE message if you really think about it. We go to church, we talk to evangelist, pastors, friends who love God or whoever, and we want to make this thing soooo complicated.

We want to have all the right things to say.
We want to have all the scriptures and what not.

This is not just for new believers. BUT for us that have been with God for a long time. He wants you to really get this, to really understand this.

…Because if you can really get this, then you can be more than a conqueror through Christ. You can get over those obstacles. You can shake that fear. You can live in Victory.

When you understand that THE God of this Universe, the creator of heaven and earth, the creator of all things, loves you, and wishes that you live a fulfilled, happy, prosperous, healthy, life full of love, then you can do anything.

You can finally live life to the full. Full of faith. Which is just trust, being fully persuaded that God loves you and will keep His word, keep His promises, will protect and keep you.

But we forget to get the core of the whole message, what the whole Bible is trying to tell us. We…

It’s that God loves us.

Not like we love.

He doesn’t give His love then take it away, then give it, then play hop scotch with your feelings.

God loves and He loves with a deep, whole-hearted love. He gives you everything thing.

The famous scripture: John 3:16 – “For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that everyone who believes in Him would not perish, but have eternal life”. Then it goes on to say that God did not send His Son into the world to condemn it, but to save it.

The KEY for that whole message is that God LOVED, so He gave, He sacrificed, He died for us. For everyone!

Then take a look at the new commandment (John 13:34): “Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.”

I recently watched a movie called The Cross. It was a movie (a interview/documentary) about a man named Arthur Blessitt.

This man walked around the world carrying a cross for more than 40 years. He just started walking from California with a simple message that God Loves You. That message, that love, took him into places and countries that most people wouldn’t even dare go.

But He just wanted to tell people a simple 3 word sentence: God Loves You!

That is so simple. But so powerful.

He carried that cross in the snowy windy winters, in the sandy hot dry deserts, through the middle of wars between countries, through the almost uninhabited jungles, and up and down the streets of Los Angeles and every where else.

Because he knew something, he really understood a simple truth, God Loves You. This revelation will change you world.

About a month and a half ago I heard a song that moved my heart and opened up the love canal even more. The name of the song was How He Loves Us written by Mark McMillan. I actually heard it in church and was so affected by it…

…This is what God had been working on me about. This was the essence of what He was revealing. I found a version of this song sung by Kim Walker (Jesus Culture). You can listen to it below.

…And most of all I hope that you realize, or that God and The Holy Spirit reveal to you, how much He really loves you.

If you do not know God and would like to have a personal relationship with Him, and finally start to live life, then pray this simple prayer: “Father God, I believe in your Son Jesus and that He died for me, forgive me of my sins, come into my heart and let me get to know you, to have a personal relationship with you. Remember me in heaven on that day in Jesus name Amen.”

If you prayed that prayer and believed in your heart, then we know that you are saved, but your journey has just begun. Get into a bible believing church, and seek after God. You will need Him.
