A Noteworthy Find in My Aunt Rose’s Shoe Box

A few weeks ago, my mother found this writing in a shoe box of my Aunt Rose’s…It has been on my mind since then, and I just wanted to share it’s beauty and wisdom with you!

This is in her own writing, but not her words:

He giveth more grace when the burdens grow greater;

He sendeth more strength when the labors increase.

To added affliction, He addeth His mercy;

To multiplied trials, His multiplied peace.

His love has no limit. His grace has no measure;

His power has no boundary known unto man;

For out of His infinite riches in Jesus,

He giveth, and giveth, and giveth again.

When we have exhausted our store of endurance,

When our strength has failed us, the day is half done,

When we reach the end of our hoarded resources,

Our Father’s full giving is only begun.

My Aunt Rose passed away many years ago now, but it is so comforting to look upon her writings, and of course, to recreate her amazing recipes! What an amazing lady! She is very much missed!

Doesn’t It Often Feel Just Like This?

What was your workday like today?
